| TRANSPORTATION: |
Alaska Airlines, Westjet/Air Transat, Continental, America West and Delta all fly into the Manzanillo airport. Mexicana flies from Manzanillo to Mexico City and beyond.
Buses run regular trips from Puerto Vallarta to Melaque and is about a 4 hour bus ride. Buses also run regularly from Guadalajara and is about a 5 hour bus ride.
The Manzanillo airport is about 25 minutes away and in 2007, a taxi ride from the airport to Melaque is around US$35.00 or 390 pesos and a return trip is slightly cheaper.
